Responsibilities With a distinguished heritage tracing back to Bell Labs, Bellcore, and Telcordia, our experts pave the way. Peraton Labs delivers innovative solutions and revolutionary new capabilities to solve the most difficult and complex challenges for government agencies, utilities, and commercial customers. Our research and engineering protects mission-critical systems and a broad range of initiatives in computer network defense, electronic warfare, secure-by-design techniques, and cyber operations and experimentation platforms. Your expertise and areas of interest may be applied on one or more programs, providing you new opportunities to learn and grow. We are in need of an RF engineer with software development experience to support an electronic warfare (EW) science and technology (S&T) lab in the Electronic Warfare and Survivability division. Responsibilities will generally include developing system/signal of interest (SOI) models or integrating from 3rd parties, and working with intel and mission partners to develop and evaluate electronic attack (EA) countermeasures in a lab environment to protect Army platforms & soldiers. Qualifications Required Skills: 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
Experience working in an RF lab environment, including direct-inject (wired) testing.
Experience working with software defined radios (Ettus, Epiq, etc.), Firmware programming
Experience with MATLAB (preferably including Simulink) and toolboxes (DSP, signal processing, radar, etc)
Knowledge of commercial communication protocols
Software base: Python, MATLAB, VHDL, C++
U.S. Citizenship
Active Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibilityDesired Skills: Knowledge of open/modular architectures and frameworks (MOSA, CMOSS)
Experience with common framework environment (CFE) EW framework
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Target Salary Range $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
