As a Production Specialist, you will read, evaluate, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations that are crucial for a successful process. In this role, you will be part of our manufacturing team that produces high-quality animal diagnostics devices used by veterinarians worldwide. Shift Information - This is a 2nd shift role - Monday - Friday - 2:30pm - 11:00pm In This Role: You will have the chance to operate a variety of machines; this will include set-up operation, clean-up, changeover, troubleshooting, and minor repair for manufacturing equipment. Being a part of an engaged team, you will support each other and optimize the production processes. Based on your performance, you may be offered to provide training to other teammates. What You Will Need to Succeed: You are willing to learn about IDEXX and the industry. If you have some manufacturing or production experience, that is already great! You possess a High School (or an equivalent) diploma or already have some experience in a similar role. You use basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Your interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills instill trust. We are happy to create an accommodating environment for you! In this role you may be sometimes asked to perform physical activities such as standing for 2hr+, periods of sitting, phone and computer use, extended reach, occasionally lifting up to 50lb and kneeling or bending.
