Waterville, Maine: An award-winning 48-bed hospital has launched a new model for their employed Womens Health group, and now seeks 2 new OB/GYNs to practice HALF TIME, just 12 days/month (.5 FTE). You will be on call 7 of those days, and for 5 days, you will see patients in the outpatient office with no call distractions. This hospital sees fewer than 300 births/year, so the call demand is not tremendous. You will be on call just one weekend/month, overlapping with a peer physician.This popular community hospital is part of Maines second largest health system offering financial stability and soundness, and an excellent referral / specialty network. Practice in a lively college town just 75 minutes from Portland. Relocation is NOT required temporary housing can be provided by the hospital if you wish to commute to work for a few days at a time.MDs and DOs are equally welcome here by this equal opportunity employer. Outpatients are seen in a modern medical services building (with onsite radiology) adjacent to the hospital where you can provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a respectful environment.You will earn a very competitive salary (prorated for this schedule) plus RVU bonus income and a cash sign-on bonus.
