Shift: 1st shift 5:30 AM to 6 PM (3-day and 4-day, weekly rotation)

EXAMPLE OF SCHEDULE ROTATION: Saturday, Sunday, Monday On , (Tuesday -Wednesday Off) Thursday, Friday On, (Saturday, Sunday, Monday Off) Tuesday, Wednesday On, (Thursday, Friday Off) then repeat the schedule
Pay weeks are 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week
Pay week ends on Sundays.

The position of Facilities Technician I will, under general supervision, perform routine
repairs and maintenance on facilities and facility-related equipment
Work will include, but not
be limited to, work involving one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical,
plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration repair and installation.
This job description will be reviewed periodically and is subject to change by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair building structures, fixtures, and furniture.
  • Renovate facilities, including walls, doors windows, flooring, etc.
  • Assists in packing, moving, and reconfiguring the facility, including office and manufacturing
    areas.
  • Escort and assist outside vendors in the performance of their contractual obligations.
  • Maintain work records.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials
  • Respond to alarm or trouble calls as required.
  • Perform and document routine maintenance actions
  • Perform and document assigned workorder requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of
    education and experience.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience in a Facilities role
  • Prior Trades experience
  • Troubleshooting experience
    COMPETENCIES:
  • Ability to prioritize problems and projects effectively ensuring that operation, appearance,
    and upkeep of the facility are maintained at a high standard.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to safely and effectively repair and upgrade facility as needed.
  • Ability to follow directions and project plans.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a polite, courteous manner and provide feedback on
    progress and or challenges.
  • Basic computer skills.
