The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet rigorous industry standards, conducting audits, and implementing quality management systems such as ISO/AS9100. Description

  • Extensive experience in Product Development and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Maintain, enhance, and improve quality management systems.
  • Conduct compliance audits to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements for products and processes.
  • Manage non-conformance reporting and corrective action processes effectively.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key quality performance metrics.
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier-related quality issues.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive quality reports to management and customers.

Profile

  • Required: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO and AS9100 standards, and quality management systems.
  • Extensive experience in New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Proven track record in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Expertise in conducting and managing internal and supplier audits.
  • Solid background in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing non-conformance reports and tracking quality metrics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
