Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Transitioning Veteran - Network Specialist to support along-term Navy/Marine program onsite in New Orleans, Louisiana. They will be responsible for configuration changes/new configurations of router, switches, firewalls, network troubleshooting and handling incident escalations for network outages.

Must have active Secret clearance

Responsibilities:

Oversee the infrastructure and network operation by responding appropriately to alerts and events.

Oversee incident resolution, ensuring appropriate response to escalations.

Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.

Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues. Provide data center support where appropriate.

Oversee daily shift activities and document appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure continuity for any outstanding issues. Provide incident notification to Government representatives.

Requirements:

5+ Years of IT Experience

Experience maintaining, administering, configuring, and troubleshooting MCEN Network Devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)

IAT Level II Certificate - Security+

Preferred; CCNA -must get within the first 6 months of working

Active Secret Clearance

Bachelor's degree

Compensation:

60,000-75,000k- depending on years of experience and degree
