Job Title: Lead Structural Engineer Energy Sector

Location: New Orleans, LA
Salary: $85,000 - $130,000

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join a dynamic team in the energy sector in New Orleans, LA. This role requires a seasoned professional who can independently manage projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing structural engineering projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client expectations. If you have a strong background in structural engineering within the energy sector and excel in a leadership role, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of structural components for energy-related projects, including oil and gas facilities, power plants, and renewable energy structures.


• Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, design, permitting, and construction support.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions tailored to client needs.


• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.


• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.


• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and project satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.


• Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.


• Proven experience as a structural engineer in the energy sector, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.


• Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.


• Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar.


• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
