Job description

Troop Trainer This position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered. Candidate will also need the ability to obtain a Tier I/CNACI. As a Family Advocacy Programs Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support to clients seeking assistance and guidance. Your responsibilities will encompass various administrative tasks and client interactions to ensure the smooth operation of the Family Advocacy Program. Key duties include welcoming visitors, screening phone calls, briefing Service Members on topics such as domestic violence, intimate partner abuse, child abuse and/or child neglect, and providing comprehensive instruction on topics relating to anger, stress, domestic violence, intimate partner abuse, child abuse and/or child neglect Moreover, you will be tasked with maintaining program records, utilizing information systems for document uploads, and supporting social media campaigns and community outreach efforts. Your role will involve scheduling trainings and classes, performing administrative duties, and collaborating closely with the Program Manager to meet program objectives. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Family Advocacy Programs Trainer: Pay commensurate with experience. Family Advocacy Programs Trainer Responsibilities Include: Welcome visitors and assist potential clients as needed to determine needs. Receive and screen phone calls. Refer telephone calls to appropriate staff members or to appropriate agencies as necessary. Work closely with Service Members, Company Commanders and First Sergeants, and other members of the community to provide Family Advocacy related trainings. Comprise training curriculum as needed for classes, trainings, and briefings. Maintain program records per IMCOM Certification standards. Utilize Information Systems to upload documents as required by program regulations Assist Program Manager with social media campaigns, marketing requests, and community awareness/outreach for the program and upcoming events. Write monthly articles focused on Family Advocacy related topics such as classes offered, Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner abuse, child abuse and/or child neglect Participate in family focused events both during and after normal duty hours Gather and provide detailed unit analytics as requested for Unit Risk Inventories (URIs) and deskside briefs. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Family Advocacy Programs Trainer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in any of the following disciplines: Social work, Psychology, Marriage, family, and child counseling, counseling, behavioral science, nursing, education, community health or public health Must be able and willing to brief large groups of Service Members, Family Members, and community members. Ability to address Senior Commanders and unit representatives in a positive manner on a regular basis. Ability to produce informative monthly articles as requested by Program Manager and/or Program Specialist. Must be able and willing to complete all trainings provided by Government client.
