About Mending Point Behavioral Health Services
Mending Point is a community-based service of KyUMH located in Jessamine County. The program provides targeted case management and/or therapy to adolescents, young adults, and families. Our resources and interventions are designed to eliminate barriers to services and treat mental health and substance abuse disorders. Services should heighten functioning for the individual, family, and community through the provision of quality treatment services.

Position Summary
The Clinical Director is responsible for leading and investing in a team of clinical staff.
The Clinical Director assures that all KyUMH programming practices are appropriately implemented and marketed.
The Clinical Director collaborates with agency leadership and program staff in developing and implementing a fiscally sustainable model for service delivery.
The Clinical Director ensures services are provided in compliance with all applicable directives, including but not limited to all current and thereafter amended federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations required under this position.

Applicant Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and submit to an intensive background investigation.
Master's Degree in a human services field.
Independently licensed as one of the following: LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP, LPP or certified psychologist with autonomous functioning.
3 years of post-graduate experience in supervising treatment of children with emotional/behavioral problems.
2 years of experience post-licensure.
Demonstrated strength in management/supervision of staff.
Preferred candidates will be qualified as a CADC or LCADC and possess the training and experience requirements necessary to fulfill the role of AODE clinical services supervisor; or possess the alternative training and experience necessary to fulfill AODE clinical services supervisor requirements.
Maintains appropriate amount and quality of training per policy and according to licensing regulations.
The candidate must possess knowledge of the specific requirements of his/her licensing body including renewal requirements and maintain them appropriately.
Must stay current with the continuing education units of the respective field.
Must maintain independent licensure as active and in good standing.
