Job description
JOB SUMMARY
The primary focus for this role is to:
Participates in system review, design, development, and testing of workflows specific to clinical quality projects.
Develops, designs and implements educational and clinical quality workflows to train end users.
Researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations for application workflow improvements to support clinical quality projects.
Develops protocols, policies, procedures for clinical quality workflows.
Implements new solutions and troubleshoots and resolves issues related to the existing clinical application systems as it relates to clinical quality projects.
Monitors quality metrics and responds to remediate measures that are below the required threshold.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Associate's degree in nursing and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in good standing.
Required Skills
Familiarity with Clinical Applications and working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
Strong Clinical Skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Demonstrates well developed problem solving, analytical, customer service and oral and written communication skills.
Functions in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities.
Minimum Work Experience
Three to five years of nursing experience with knowledge of Electronic Medical Records. Preferred experience in clinical informatics.

Demonstrates the ability to analyze problems and come up with a solution.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills
Applies knowledge of nursing and informatics to assist in the ongoing modification of workflows to develop, implement, and support workflows to achieve the organization's clinical quality goals.
