Senior Cloud Security Engineer As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen. Requires a Top-Secret Clearance. A Senior Cloud Security Engineer with over 5 years of experience in information security focuses on risk and compliance. They conduct ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, handle audit responses, and ensure regulatory compliance. They manage identity management, cloud storage, disaster recovery, and use GRC tools. They lead risk and compliance projects, manage third-party audits, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to advance corporate goals. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Cloud Security Engineer: Pay commensurate with experience. Senior Cloud Security Engineer Responsibilities Include: Focus on risk and compliance in information security. Conduct ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, handle audit responses, and manage third-party audits. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance requirements such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, FedRamp, CMMC, PCI, and GDPR. Oversee identity management standards, cloud storage, and disaster recovery. Utilize GRC tools and best practices (e.g., ZenGRC, OneTrust, Archer) for managing governance, risk, and compliance. Organize and execute risk and compliance projects effectively. Compile evidence and organize audit responses for successful audits. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams through written and verbal means. Use analytical and problem-solving skills to manage initiatives and achieve corporate goals. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Senior Cloud Security Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Requires a Top-Secret Clearance. 5+ years of direct experience in information security, with a main emphasis on risk and compliance. 3+ years of expertise conducting ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, as well as handling audit responses. Thorough understanding of market structures, including relevant regulatory compliance requirements (ISO27001, SOC 2 , NIST, FedRamp, CMMC, PCI, GDPR, etc.) Knowledge of identity management standards, storage, and disaster recovery in the cloud. Knowledge of GRC tool techniques and best practices (ZenGRC, OneTrust, Archer). Proven track record of organizing and carrying out several risk and compliance projects. Ability to successfully manage third-party audits, compile evidence, and organize audit responses. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the capability to communicate with cross-functional teams. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities for managing initiatives that advance corporate goals. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
