Project Manager I This position requires an active Public Trust clearance. Oversee, plan, and coordinate all aspects of various IT-related projects from initiation to delivery. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop detailed project plans/schedules to ensure timely completion. Coordinate activities performed by IT staff and others by defining project scope and requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager I: Enter$ Pay commensurate with experience. Project Manager I Responsibilities Include: Evaluates and develops project plans and budgets. Coordinates with multiple internal and external groups. Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays and mitigation plans. Ensures projects remain on schedule and within budget. Communicates project progress to appropriate audience. Manages aspects of customer interface, including requirements of cost, schedule, and technical performance. Manages project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members. Participates in negotiation of requirements and changes. Serves as focal point and liaison between departments on project status or other project information. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Project Manager I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business administration, finance, or accounting and 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Working knowledge of project management and creating and implementing project schedules. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to lead, mentor and advise large teams.
