LPN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a LPN, you play a vital role in our facility. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose!
- Monitoring their condition and needs
- Carry out physician orders to administer medications and treatments
- Ensure the narcotic policies and procedures are followed
- Monitor for side effects, and report any changes in the condition.
- Oversee the CNAs to make sure that resident care plans are being followed.
- Admit/discharge residents and associated assessments and paperwork.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LPN
- LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly and mentally ill
Experience in mental health, medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time health care position works 12-hour shift 6 pm to 6 am with rotating weekends.
