What You'll Do: As an Operations Coordinator - Wealth Management, you will work as part of a brokerage operations processing team to provide white-glove customer service by providing detailed, accurate and timely communications to ensure agent advisors, customers and internal staff are aware of the status of their accounts and service items. You will:

  • Respond to and resolve customer service requests via phone and email according to Farm Bureau policies and clearing firm guidelines in a prompt and efficient way.
  • Train agents, advisors and their staff regarding all operations-related functions.
  • Process new accounts, transfers of assets, deposits and account maintenance requests.
  • Ensure accuracy of processing functions and verify suitability and compliance.
  • Cross train in areas such as new advisor onboarding, financial planning review, direct business and sales support.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Two years of relevant experience and previous experience with a broker dealer required.
  • Series 7 and Series 24 Principal required. If not already obtained, Series 7 and Series 24 Registered Representative licenses are required within 6 months of employment.
  • Series 53 and Series 65/66 preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and training skills are required.
  • Basic math, banking, and/or security/investment background is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday from our office in West Des Moines, IA.
