POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a part-time delivery driver for approximately 10-25 hours/week on an as needed basis (No Weekends) within a radius of 60-80 miles around Sully, Iowa. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting goods from our manufacturing facility to our customer. The equipment operated is a straight truck and no log books are required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operate a delivery truck.

Follow a specified schedule and identify the most efficient routes in order to accurately and safely deliver customer orders and/or pick up parts for return work.

Provide applicable paperwork for both delivery and return orders.

Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.

Provide superior service to our customers upon delivery.

Ensure orders are properly and fully unloaded out of or loaded onto the truck.

Perform regular vehicle check-ups and general housekeeping of the truck.

Provide notification of equipment issues and maintenance required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 6 months driving, preferred.

Computer Skills: N/A

Certificates & Licenses: valid Class B CDL drivers license issued by the state of Iowa and current DOT medical card.

Other Requirements: Good driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
