Overview
The RN or LPN (Charge Nurse) is responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents and to coordinate total nursing care for residents; ensure medications are administered following the rights of medication administration, responsible for supporting management of patient procedures and programs; for participating with the Director of Nursing and ADON in establishing specific goals; for determining work procedures and expediting work flow; for ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures; communicating and supervising appropriate personnel; providing daily reports and other periodic reports; and performing all the duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant when required. Direct supervision of a team of 4-6 CNAs is required.

Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience, preferred but not required
Active Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) License with Iowa Practice Privileges, required
Active BLS/CPR Certificate, required

Qualifications
RN or LPN license
CPR certification
BLS certification
Experience in catheterization and tube feeding
Proficiency in EMR and EHR systems; Midlands utilizes Point Click Care
Strong patient care and assessment skills
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities
IV infusion and triage experience
Ability to work with diverse patient populations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $38.00 per hour
