Job description

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Operate, maintain, and repair a variety of farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
• Perform daily checks and regular maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality and safety
• Operate equipment to till soil, plant seeds, apply fertilizers and pesticides, and harvest crops
• Transport harvested crops to storage areas or to market
• Monitor crops and fields, identifying potential problems such as disease or pest infestation
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Assist with livestock care, including feeding and watering animals, as needed
• Work with farming team to plan and execute planting and harvesting schedules
• Keep detailed records of machinery maintenance, crop activities, and harvested yields
• Communicate effectively with farm owners, managers, and other team members to ensure efficient operations
