MD/DO ER Department Opening in Cedar Falls, IAStart Date: ASAPHours: 12- or 24-hour shiftsAssignment: Ongoing6,000 annual ED volume (15 patients per 24 hrs.)Rate: $195-$200/hrJob Requirements:- Must be BC/BE- What boards are accepted: FM, IM, EM, GS. DOES ACCEPT American Board of Physician- Specialties ABPS (Specialty boards) ALL BOARDS need the following proof of ER hours:- Cerner - Four hours of EMR training required on-site in Waterloo must be weekdays, scheduled no later than noon, no first shitis on weekends.- EM - must provide documentation of 500 EM hours within 12 months. At reappointment 500 EM hours within the past 24 months.- FP, IM, & GSmust provide documentation 1500 EM hours in the past two years on initial appointment. Reappointment 500 hrs. in the past two years.- Exception 1: Physicians who are new graduates from FP program must provide documentation of at least 500 EM hours over the past two years. This cannot be ER rotations, or anything related to residency, must be moonlighng hours.- Exception 2: Third-year EM residents, with documentation of good standing, per residency program director. No proof of hours is required. - Must have ACLS, ATLS, PALS and MRT.- R3 EM resident. NO other residents accepted.- Life Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS. Must be AHA certifications, no others accepted. They will NOT accept AMRI life certifications. - ABEM or ABPS EM physicianswill waive ATLS. ABEM & AOBEM certification they will waive ACLS & PALS. - ABPS have not been approved to have ACLS & PALS waived.- Must have IA license, DEA in state of IA & IA CSA.- Immunizations required: MMR, Varicella, Tdap (prefer iters, but will accept documentation of immunizations given.) 12/30/21 Hep.
