Job description

1. Reports to: Maintenance Director 2. Conditions: b. 5.5 hours per day c. As needed basis 3. Qualifications a. High school diploma or equivalent preferred b. Basic understanding of custodial needs c. Ability to communicate effectively with others d. Alternatives to the above requirements as determined by the administration 4. Major Responsibilities a. Clean rooms in assigned area per cleaning chart provided by maintenance director b. Notify maintenance/custodial supervisor concerning needs for major repairs and/or modifications c. Take out and replace garbage cans, clean off tables, sweep floors d. Clean and sanitize areas in accordance with state and federal requirements e. Any other job duties as assigned by supervisors 5. Physical Demands a. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions. b. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; stand, sit walk; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and taste or smell. c. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
