Job description


Our client, a growing, value-added specialty products distributor, has an opportunity for an experienced Regional Sales Territory Managers capable of managing multi-state territories in a solution-based selling structure. The opportunity is fully remote but requires working and living in the region Northwest Region includes Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington and California. Good base salary plus quarterly bonus plan based on goals.



The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that has good time management skills. The organization has high transaction volume, a diverse customer base and a national distribution network. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Territory Manager will be a key member of a leadership team that has built a strong and growing customer base leading to sustained growth.



Knowledge & Skills:



Demonstrable knowledge of selling process including key tools and executional structure for success.


Accomplished communication skills, ability to write and communicate ideas clearly and concisely.


Successfully sell the value proposition at various levels within the company's customer organizations.


Career success in growing sales and in meeting sales objectives.


Demonstrated organization skills and consistent achievement of deadlines.


Proficient Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and video conferencing.


College degree (BA/BS) and minimum of 5-7 years sales experience. At least two years selling through distributors.


Experience with planning, forecasting and analysis.


Prefer knowledge of independent distributor networks and large-scale supplier relationships.


Location in the related region, ideally near an air travel hub. Ability and desire to travel approximately 30 to 50% within your region.

Ability to identify opportunities, develop approaches to secure the opportunity.

Demonstrated ability to work with teams.
