This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and reliability of their network infrastructure and information systems. As a key member of their IT team, you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of their cybersecurity strategies to safeguard the company's data and systems.

Job Responsibilities

As a Lead Network Engineer, you will play an integral position within our client's Information Technology Department. This will involve assisting in a variety of essential job functions that include the design and implementation of network and cybersecurity based technologies.

Specific duties in this role include:

• Perform deployments, enhancements, and maintenance
• Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade network hardware and wiring
• Develop, test, and evaluate all system upgrades and enhancements
• manage a team with 4-6 direct reports
• implement best practice cybersecurity principles

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Lead Network Engineer who combines strong leadership and organizational skills, with solid prioritization and attention to detail abilities. You must have sound judgment and strong reasoning skills, as well as good analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Specific requirements for this position include:

• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Experience with enterprise networking tools9 Including the design, implementation, and maintenance of those tools)
• O365 administration experience (Intune experience is a plus)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in implementing cybersecurity principles
• Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team
• Experience managing or leading a team
• Experience configuring firewalls
• Patching experience
• VOIP experience is a nice plus
