Key Responsibilities of the Part-Time Staff Accountant:

• Transaction Master: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Reconciliation Whiz: Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Financial Reporting Pro: Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting Guru: Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Compliance Champion: Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaborator: Collaborate with the finance team on financial audits and reviews.
• Grant Accounting: Assist with grant accounting and reporting as needed.
• All-Rounder: Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Part-Time Staff Accountant:

• Experience: At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Organized: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
