Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Sr. Director, Transactions and M&A, to lead and support business development transactions across the enterprise. Lead transactions that will include acquisitions, licenses, and equity investments for new technologies, products/molecules, or services. Manage projects with significant risk, financial requirements, and complexity to achieve our external innovation objectives. Identify short-term and long-term partner, competitive, and environmental trends and to solve unique and complex problems with broad strategic and financial impact on the business.

Position requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field and 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience with business development, and research and development; 2 years of experience leading business transformation and strategy projects; 2 years of experience managing cross functional teams and projects with significant risk, financial requirements, and complexity to achieve external innovation objectives; and 2 years of experience influencing and communicating both internally within a company and externally with partners.
