Role: Trading Partner / Financial Management Specialist
Location: DFAS Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid Remote 2-3 days onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Clearance: Must have or be eligible for Interim Secret (can hold higher clearances)
Pay Rate: $100,000 to 120,000 Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team at DFAS Indianapolis, IN. As a Trading Partner Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development, implementation, and performance of intragovernmental reconciliations of buyer/seller data with the Army's trading partners. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in federal financial management and accounting, coupled with experience in data analysis and coordination with external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Support the development, implementation, and performance of intragovernmental reconciliations of buyer/seller data with the Army's trading partners.
Validate developed intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations using supporting transactional data from Army's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and the DoD's big data platform for advanced analytics (Advana).
Coordinate with Army's trading partners to resolve variances identified within intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations.
Perform detailed analysis on the quality and accuracy of trading partner data within Army's ERP systems.
Assist in the automation of manual processes associated with intragovernmental trading partner reconciliations. Requirements: Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management, OR CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM certification Minimum of 4 years of experience in federal financial management.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal accounting.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with Army's trading partners.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., GFEBS) and big data platforms (e.g., Advana) is a plus.
Ability to obtain or possess Interim Secret clearance.
