Job description

River Club Apartments is seeking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to the best team ever. The community has 444 apartments. All exteriors have been freshly painted, and very soon 150 of the apartments will have a renovated kitchens and bathrooms which include all new appliances! We have also been on the path to replacing all air conditioners and are remodeling amenity areas.

The community only has 7 leases expiring between now and the end of the year. Our new Supervisor will have ample time to learn our software systems and operation plans before turning apartments in the Spring.

A successful and respected Maintenance Supervisor:

  • Will be a working Supervisor - actively performing grounds, inspections, punch and service
  • Will have a high level of technical knowledge and able to and excited to teach and train maintenance technicians
  • Will be communicative, and check in regularly with the office team on new leases and upcoming needs
  • Will adhere to preventative maintenance schedules and tasks
  • Will look at scenarios and make repairs when possible prior to replacing
  • Will be professional and able to conduct themselves professionally at all times with vendors, residents, and other team members.
  • Will be able to keep a stocked and organized maintenance shop
  • Will be in the rotation for on call and respond to snow/ice removal.
A formal knowledge assessment will be conducted as part of the interview process. Position pays $60K + renewal bonuses, rent discount, training, uniforms, iPhone, safety shoes or boots annually, Carhartt coat, and membership in the Indiana Apartment Association training courses including EPA certification courses. Additional benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and 401K.
