Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30pm-8:00am (Some Saturdays)

Starting Pay: $23.50 per hour

Overview:

As a team member, the Frozen Warehouse Driver controls the receipt, storage, and out-loading of finished produced goods in the facility. They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform the responsibilities and tasks assigned with the general guidance of your leader.
  • Prepare and ship orders for pick up or delivery according to schedule and order instructions.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store).
  • Perform inventory transactions accurately and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization .
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Communicate and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Follow and comply with procedures, rules and policies.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and gets along well with coworkers.
  • Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others.
  • Process Inbound product from production .
  • Pick and Load product for outbound shipments.
  • Ensuring safe and clean work conditions.
  • Work with other Team Members on completing daily tasks.
  • Interface with support departments.
  • Inventory control.
  • Maintains warehouse to BRC standards.
  • Follow processes and procedures at all times .
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year warehouse experience required with prior stand-up forklift experience.
  • Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
  • Must be able to ensure proper product rotation and understand and perform lot and computer control.
  • Must be able to work as a TEAM.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime.
  • Computer proficiency with SAP and RF Gun and the ability to make arithmetic calculations, complete routine reports and forms, and the ability to understand and follow directions as given are also necessary.
  • Good verbal and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently (on an occasional basis).
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the assigned eight-hour shift.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively.
  • Experience with OSHA regulations, BRC Standards and Warehouse GMPs
  • A good grasp of inventory management (cycle counting, materials management, etc.)

  • Ability to anticipate what needs to be done and commit to take ownership to ensure it gets done.

  • Ability to help create a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of sanitation, food handling, and food safety practices in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must have prior experience able to be certified on: Standup Lift, Clamp Truck, and Standup Deep Reach. Also, able to operate a battery changer and adhering to the PPE processes.
  • Overall being able to work for long periods of time in a freezer environment. 0 to -10 degrees or colder.
