Department Information

IU Radio/TV is home to Indiana Public Media, the south-central Indiana region's trusted source of locally-produced news, arts and culture series from WFIU Public Radio, WTIU Public Television, and nationally-distributed programming from NPR and PBS. Indiana Public Media is online at indianapublicmedia.org.

Job Summary

The Digital Operations Coordinator works within the IU Radio/TV Content group, and reports to the Director of Digital.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Manages digital ad traffic on platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Public Radio Exchange (PRX), and Adswizz Audio Serve.
  • Monitors and creates digital revenue reports from platforms such as YouTube, Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
  • Performs quality control of online content for usability, accessibility, and discoverability.
  • Handles request from station staff for updates to web content and digital ads.

EDUCATION

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
Preferred
  • Associate's degree in a technical field, media, or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred
  • 2 years of experience working with web-based information systems, databases, and/or content management systems.
SKILLS

Required
  • Proficient communication skills

  • Demonstrates a high commitment to quality
  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Additional Information

This position is residing in-state, so the selected candidate must be an Indiana resident.

Work Location

Bloomington, Indiana

Advertised Salary

The selected candidate will be offered $15.00 per hour.

Work Hours

10-15 hours per week

Flexible schedule, primarily within regular Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm business hours.

Part-time employees at Indiana University may not work over 29 hours per week across all University-held positions.
