The Senior Sustainability Program Specialist will work closely with business segments and departments to collect and analyze data and information about sustainability initiatives across the company. As part of the corporate sustainability department team, the Senior Specialist will develop and implement The Company's' ESG reporting processes, environmental compliance tracking and reporting, and provide sustainability program support. The Senior Specialist will be self-motived, analytically minded, and have exceptional written communication skills and experience in corporate sustainability to develop compelling content for internal and external reporting. The Senior Specialist will also provide research and analysis of sustainability data as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Sustainability, Economics, Business or other related field from an accredited college or university required.

  • Advanced degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering/Science, Environmental Policy, MBA or related field is preferred.

    EXPERIENCE

  • Five years or more of professional experience (including co-op or internship experience) in sustainability and/or environmental fields required.

    QUALFICATIONS

  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis of environmental data and/or sustainability topics is preferred.

  • Prior experience with ESG and sustainability or environmental management system data platforms, databases, and tools is a plus.

  • Excellent human relations and team building skills

  • Strong analytical and assessment skills

  • Strong computer application skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Attention to detail, and ability to handle work with different priorities and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to drive results aligned with company values

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
