Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and providing behavioral therapy.

Duties

  • Implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Collect and record data on patient behavior
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support patients
  • Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Monitor and manage patient behaviors effectively

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Familiarity with care plans and ADLs
  • Proficiency in medical documentation and HIPAA regulations
  • Experience in behavioral therapy and patient care
  • Understanding of applied behavior analysis principles
  • Ability to manage behaviors effectively

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities
  • Expertise in behavior management techniques
