Job description
Amyx is seeking to hire a Lead Software Developer to support our USTRANSCOM TGIS contract at Scott Air Force Base. Responsibilities • Oversee the development team(s) to ensure agile methodologies are maintained, relesae sprints are schedule and milestone met, and support testing.
• Manage issue backlog - bucketing tickets into sprints, or epics
• Mentor younger developers
• Design templates and processes for use in future TGIS API or application upgrades
• Ensure the system stays ahead of any impending obsolesence issues and implements commercial best practice technology upgrades
• Manage client expectation and ensure communications with the Gov't PMO are maintained and all parties informed of upcoming release features and/or bug fixes Supported technology: ESRI ArcGIS, AWS, Oracle, Microsoft Office, Cloud Developer Tools, SQL, Geospatial eXploitation Product (GXP), Python, .Net, Java Qualifications Required: • At least 7 years of experience
• Secret Level Clearance • BA/BS in technical/related field Desired: • Top-Secret Level Clearance
• Experience working on a Geospatial related project
• Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) Certification
