Job description

Job Duties: Participate in analysis, and resolution of new product related concerns. Support the development of tool capability plans, and coordinate data collection, capability studies, and sign-off new tool qualification reports. Facilitate risk analysis during Product Design Review and FMEA sessions. Coordinate necessary quality training to engineers, technicians and inspectors on new quality systems, controls, methods, and equipment. Support process audits to qualify new production line, and to ensure compliance to documented control plans for new products. Support the formulation of quality and manufacturing control strategies to meet specific customer requirement. Liaise with Product Managers or Customer on qualification matters. Support manufacturing site to ensure qualification samples execution per requirement. Participate as an active member of the Development Centre, contribute new ideas or best practices to improve the overall wellbeing of the group. Participate in the standardization of AQP workflows. Take on special projects as assigned by Sr. AQP Director. Analyze and recommend improvements to the New Product Development Workflow and System to reduce product and process risks. Support the deployment of necessary quality controls on new products to ensure good parts are shipped and reduce risk of functional failures at customer qualification. Provide Coaching or Mentoring to AQP engineers as required. Participate as an active member of the Global AQP Council. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Computational, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Of the required experience, must have: 5 years of experience with Advance Quality Planning in discrete manufacturing and assembly processes of high-precision components, both product and process design, throughout all phases of New Product Introduction; 2 years of experience with supervising technical teams during the NPI phases and in volume production; 1 year of Program Management experience in dynamic New Product Introduction development cycles (12 to 24-month cycles) of high precision components/assemblies, developing Gantt charts and prioritizing activities in the critical path; and 1 year of experience with coaching interdisciplinary teams on timely identification and resolution of emerging product and process risks in high-precision component industry.
