They are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team and oversee our asphalt projects from inception to completion.

Position Overview: The Superintendent will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of our asphalt construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in heavy and civil construction, specifically in asphalt paving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of asphalt construction projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Manage and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays that arise.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Review and approve work performed by subcontractors and inspect completed work.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, daily reports, and other required documentation.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in heavy and civil construction, with a focus on asphalt paving.
• Strong knowledge of asphalt materials, equipment, and construction techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP) are a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
