Job Title: Superintendent

Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team at a leading general contracting firm specializing in commercial construction. The Superintendent will oversee the on-site execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and material deliveries.
• Supervise and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is performed according to project plans and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on-site activities to project stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and building codes to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
• Resolve any on-site issues, conflicts, or delays promptly to minimize project disruptions and maintain project momentum.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a strong track record of successfully managing construction sites.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead construction teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
