Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Requirements: Rotate in with perm staff

Requirements:

• IL license
• 2 Years Experience
• Must have common MICU experience with respiratory, some cardiac
• Must be able to titrate drips, manage vents, lead codes
• BLS, ACLS
• Highly prefer previous travel experience

Other Details:

• Charting System: Cerner Corporation - Millennium
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Common MICU patients, Afib RVR, STEMI, temporary pacers, Sepsis, multiorgan failure, DKA, ETOH, Withdrawal, Severe anemia, EKOS, Covid, Post surgical- recover in ICU, all bipaps are placed in ICU even if they are lower acuity
• # Beds: 6
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3
• Can float to medsurg/tele. Helping hands in psych, ER or L&D. Unless you have a background on another unit. Traveler can opt to work another unit if experienced
