Job Overview:

Seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, a commitment to safety, and exceptional leadership skills. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all work is performed according to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Project Oversight: Manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, laborers, and other on-site personnel.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce all safety protocols and ensure that OSHA and company safety standards are met at all times.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, adjust timelines as necessary, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential issues before they arise, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation related to project progress, safety, and other critical areas.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, and any relevant industry certifications.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
