About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Hartford. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building high-performance, scalable data solutions to meet the needs of our agents, brokers, home buyers, and sellers.

Senior Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build Next Generation Data Streaming/Messaging Platform
• Develop Data Ingestion Platform for real-time streaming of data from various sources
• Create Data Platform Control Center for onboarding publishers and consumer applications
• Design and develop Data Provisioning and Permission Platform for data lake users
• Develop Data Quality and Ops Platform for real-time data anomaly detection
• Design and implement CI/CD process for continuous delivery in AWS Cloud
• Test and optimize robust, scalable data platform components

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 10+ years of programming experience in Go/Java/Python
• 10+ years of experience building data frameworks and scaling them using message brokers
• 5+ years of experience with Apache Kafka and AWS Managed Kafka Service
• 5+ years of experience ingesting data from SQL Server/My SQL/Oracle using CDC technologies
• 2 years of experience with AWS Data Services
• 1 year of experience with data architecture, ETL, and processing of structured and unstructured data
• 2 years of experience with DevOps tools and methodologies

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Python/Java programming
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub, TravisCI, or Jira
• Knowledge of Lean, Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development

Position Information

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
