Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a PostgreSQL DBA.

Position: PostgreSQL DBA

Duration: 12 months (with high possibilities of extension)

Location: Chicago, IL / Plano, TX / Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Description:

• At least 5+ years of experience in systems analysis including data analysis, profiling, etc.
• Proficient in writing SQL, Oracle queries using Toad or any other front-end tool.
• Requires experience in support management of PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong experience with Linus.
• Prefer someone with Oracle DBA experience in addition.
• Strong teamwork skills essential, effective oral and written communication skills required.

Required Skills:

• Ability to build out lower level & production/ contingency level environments & get required approvals
• Maintain patching needs on ongoing basis for all environments & perform in required timeframes
• Keep track of downstream/upstream application outages and perform required validations
• Ensure team and associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines
• Participates in the development and implementation of complex databases, often using new technologies and database design work.

• Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
• Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities as a team member or as an individual contributor.
• Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers.
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
• Computer Science degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience.
• Typically, 5-7 years of IT experience.

The ideal candidate should have an experience with Scripting, Administration, Development, Operations Support, DBA.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range : Between $65.00 - $68.00 per hour>

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
