This Contract role as a Hybrid Learning and Development Consultant in Chicago, IL is responsible for deploying high quality learning deliverables against aggressive timelines as well as supporting various administrative functions associated with the client Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities:

• Deploying high quality learning deliverables against aggressive timelines as well as supporting various administrative functions associated with the client Learning Management System (LMS). This could involve liaison with our service partner SumTotal, attending weekly team meetings and providing updates on LMS-specific activity, running LMS reports, testing/quality controls. May include migrating content and data from other LMS environments.

• Deployment of training/learning materials using a variety of authoring tools and deployment methodologies, participating in teams that scope projects to include ILT, WBT, and blended solutions; pilot coordination, implementation, and deployment of learning solutions, testing, solution packaging/publishing, learning management system support/administration, and technical troubleshooting.

• Work could include:

- Collaborate with SMEs to collect content for training solutions and obtain approval of completed solution.

- Package and configure learning activities (Web-Based, Instructor-Led, Virtual, Curriculum, etc.) for use in the SumTotal LMS.

- Develop and deploy interactive/multimedia SCORM learning activities in the lms.

- Create embedded media (animation, images, audio, video, etc.) for use in SCORM learning activities.

- Create and modify custom SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 manifests.

- Run LMS reports.

- Edit/format learning & user data with Microsoft Excel.

- Expert in instructional design with a thorough knowledge of adult learning concepts •

- Expert in developing of interactive web-based training in storyline or captivate •

- Expert in instructional tools and technologies, including:

o Articulate Storyline 360

o Adobe Captivate 2019

o SCORM

o SumTotal Learn

o Microsoft Excel 360

Requirements:

• Experience Articulate Storyline, Captivate, HTML5

• Experience with LMS

• 5 years of instructional design and development experience is required with an educational background in adult learning, human capital, or business consulting.
