Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Financial Analyst

Position type: Fulltime/Contract
Duration: 5 months Contract

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite in a week 2 days remote in a week)

As a Financial Analyst , You will:

Job Description:

This position is responsible for forecasting, planning, and analyzing the financial performance of business. Responsibilities may include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and reports, updating financial models, and participating in RFPs. The role is expected to provide accurate expense projections for internal staffing, contractors, third-party vendor services, and other general administrative expenses. The analyst will also provide finance support to government business leaders and cross-functional corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build financial models and create KPI dashboards, including ROI models for business case development and forecasting.
• Manage ad-hoc projects for internal business partners and collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment.
• Present monthly financials at all leadership levels.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally.
• Solve problems independently, with attention to detail, summarizing large amounts of data into key points.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft products.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 2-3 years of experience in corporate finance.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Hyperion (Essbase/PBCS), PeopleSoft, and other Oracle financial tools.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $31 to $33 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
