Our client seeks an Execution Services Analyst interested in joining a team supporting a self-clearing FCM and Broker Dealer. The Execution Services team works closely with FCM/BD clients and brokers to manage market access, connectivity, and all trading related issues. Different levels of experience and a background in futures or securities can apply.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Execution Services Manager and other analysts to manage daily operations, customer platforms, execution, routing and exchanges connectivity.
Assume ownership of day-to-day support activities and customer interactions.
Monitor trading platforms and exchange GUIs for rejected orders and resolve as necessary (FCM side).
Monitor the order router and client activities, including order approval, (BD side).
Monitor risk reports and take corrective action as necessary.
Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives.
Interact with developers and technology to address problems or add new features and functionalities. Ability to write specs, manage projects and ability to test highly preferred: seeing projects through to completion is an important way to contribute to the growth of the firm.
Ensure trading and compliance processes are completed; escalate issues to management.
Provide support during non-US hours.
Minimum Qualifications
Series 7 preferred; required within 120 days of start otherwise.
5 years of work experience within the financial service industry
Ability to work in a time sensitive and often pressured financial markets environment
Strong client service skills
Proficiency in VBA, Excel, SQL and Python strongly preferred.
Ability to quickly and effectively absorb and analyze information, technical aptitude desired.
Clear communicator and willingness to work closely with other teams.
Results oriented, efficient, able to learn from mistakes, committed to avoid mistakes at all costs.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering or related field.
