Director of Finance and Accounting

$100,000 to $135,000 per year plus bonus

We have partnered with a large property management organization that has a full time direct hire need for a Director of Finance and Accounting in the heart of the Chicago Loop. The position will oversee and be responsible for accounting and finance for 2 hotel properties and oversee one accounting clerk. This opportunity has the potential for advancement as well and could eventually work at the corporate office where where people have advanced.

What we are seeking in a Director of Finance and Accounting:

• Seeking a min of 3+years' experience with accounting and finance from a hotel or hospitality based organization
• Role will be approximately 60% accounting and 40% finance responsibilities
• Will report dual to the General Manager as well as one of the Controllers at the corporate office
• The Director of Finance and Accounting will be responsible for month close
• Expense management
• Intercompany journal entries
• Budgeting
• Forecasting
• manage an accounting clerk
