Commercial Litigation Associate
Location: Chicago, IL

Our client, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join their dynamic litigation team in Chicago(link removed) This is a unique opportunity to join a growing practice offering a wide range of litigation services across multiple industries.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials.


• Bar Admission in Illinois (in good standing)(link removed)>
  
• At least 3 years of substantive experience in general commercial litigation and other complex litigation matters, including product liability(link removed)>
  
• Experience in insurance litigation is a plus.


• Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with the ability to draft and argue discovery motions, take and defend depositions, and manage document productions.


• An entrepreneurial spirit, ready to contribute to a growing office and manage case files independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, product liability, and other litigation matters.


• Draft and argue discovery motions, conduct and defend depositions, and manage all phases of discovery and document production.


• Collaborate with the litigation team to develop case strategies and provide effective counsel to clients in industries such as energy, aerospace, automotive, and life sciences.


• Take ownership of case management, contributing to a growing and dynamic office.
