Hybrid Chicago, IL 2-3 Days a Week Onsite - 25% Travel

Additionally, our client is NMSDC-certified, with a portfolio of clients that includes some of the nation's largest airports, utilities, commercial real estate portfolios, and government agencies. They are also backed by Abry Partners, a Boston-based sector-focused private equity firm with $5B under management and more than 30 years of experience in the technology market. Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Client Account Lead - Financial Services to drive the development and capture of multimillion-dollar transactions within the Commercial Financial space, with a focus on IT managed services, digital transformation, consulting, cloud services, and systems integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial industry experience and consultative selling, with proven success in leading and closing large-scale deals. The focus of the role will be on securing new clients in the Greater Midwest area.
- Advise financial senior executive clients on industry trends and strategic priorities
- Partner with clients to create business value and oversee complex program delivery, including building and managing proposal teams and project execution
Shape and influence solutions for clients in connection with their strategic priorities and service offerings
- Drive profitable growth by developing a long-term pipeline of opportunities
- Develop project management plans and report on deliverables through implementation and deployment
- Build relationships with new clients and support the growth of existing clients
- Drive opportunities and revenue through the organization's capabilities
- Expand the company's Xchange program into new opportunities beyond staffing apprentices Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of sales experience in business development or large deal capture roles OR 10+ years working at a financial institution
- Demonstrated success in selling multiple, multi-year deals in the $500K to $100M range
- Established book of business in IT/cloud managed services, technology implementations, and advisory/consulting services for financial institutions
- Proven experience driving sales from lead generation to contract signing and service initiation
- Proven achievement of quarterly and year-over-year performance goals
- Experience in defining and delivering ROI/Business Cases for large-scale initiatives
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Experience with professional services sales including project scoping, pricing, and complex proposal development
- Proven negotiation experience
- Strong public-facing presentation, communication and writing skills for and company content contributions
- Experience in supporting organizational development activities such as recruiting and community building
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed Preferred Requirements
- 10+ years of IT consulting sales experience within mid/large IT Managed Services, Cloud, or Consulting firms is highly preferred
- Professional services delivery experience is preferred Education/Certification Requirements
- A Bachelors degree is required for this position Other Duties
