Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the logistics sector across the ocean and air sector.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by generating leads, networking, and utilizing market intelligence.
  • Develop tailored logistics solutions for clients, including warehousing, freight, transportation, and distribution services.
  • Focus on scaling revenue across the ocean and air verticals, while also selling cargo insurance.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, potential clients, and emerging opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations, proposal development, and contract execution to close deals.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and communication.
  • Set sales goals, forecasts, and performance targets, and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adjust business strategies accordingly.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Experience selling cargo insurance and full turnkey solutions across the ocean and air freight verticals.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Experience working with warehousing, freight forwarding, transportation, or distribution services.
  • Ability to build relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Values team culture and embraces both a results and purpose driven mindset.
  • Entreprenuerial spirit with a natural ability to think strategically outside the box.
