Job description

Are you a seasoned Active Directory and Identity Management professional with a passion for supporting and managing identity systems across IT environments? We're seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer who will work closely with the Senior IAM Engineer to build and support access management services such as Okta, Outlook, and NetDocs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Active Directory, including domain setup and management across multiple Windows servers.
  • Administer and maintain the directory services for multiple domains and forests.
  • Collaborate with the Senior IAM Engineer to support identity systems, with a focus on access management.
  • Provide support for Okta, Outlook, NetDocs, and other identity systems across all IT areas.
  • Perform directory migrations and recoveries to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, ADFS, PKI, and GPO configurations.
  • Implement security protocols and capacity management in both physical and virtual environments.
  • Automate and improve processes related to directory services.
Must-Have Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Technical IAM role, including tool evaluation/selection, implementation, and operations.
  • Cloud-based utilization and cloud adoption experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD), GPO management, and Windows Desktop/Server environments.
  • Experience in IT Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions.
  • Knowledge of IT management frameworks such as COBIT and/or ITIL.
  • Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and integrating IAM services within larger IT organizations.
  • OKTA experience is heavily preferred.
Required Experience:
  • Experience promoting Domain Controllers and managing their roles.
  • Familiarity with the roles held by Domain Controllers and their impact on domain security and management.
  • Understanding of Network Time Protocol (NTP) and its integration within domain environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory's multimaster replication model.
  • Hands-on experience with DNS management, including various DNS record types beyond A records.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Active Directory management, not just provisioning and access control (IAM). Your career should showcase a comprehensive understanding of Active Directory's architecture, with hands-on management of directory services across multiple environments.
