SPANISH SPEAKING WORKERS' COMPENSATION LEGAL ASSISTANT NEEDED!

Position: Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Workers' Compensation Law; Must fluently speak Spanish

Responsibilities:


  • Assist attorneys in preparing and filing workers' compensation documents, including claims, petitions, and appeals.
  • Conduct legal research on workers' compensation laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Gather and organize client information, including medical records, employment history, and accident reports.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, insurance companies, and other attorneys regarding case updates and requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
  • Assist with the preparation of settlement agreements and other related legal documents.
