Nam Helper - Hollow Core Posting Start Date: 8/23/24 Division: Doors Posting Area: Operations + Manufacturing Employment Type: Hourly Full Time Onsite/Remote: Onsite Job Location: Nampa, ID Nam Helper - Hollow Core The Helper is responsible for assisting in machine center area to meet production needs. This position is expected load and unload the machine, clean up area, and ensure that parts meet quality specifications. Essential Duties: Closely inspecting material and removing material that does not meet specified quality standards Following production schedule and producing material to the required specifications Read and understand the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and standard operating procedures related to and posted near the area Complete safety orientation training, observe all safety policies and procedures, including use of required protective equipment (PPE) Non-Essential Duties: Maintaining a clean and orderly work area Actively participating in work-area improvements Assisting other work areas as necessary Leadership Competencies: Drives for results Establishes stretch goals Communicates powerfully and prolifically Collaboration and teamwork Education/Experience/Certification: High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous work experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions Good communication and listening skills Ability to work well and collaborate in a team environment Attention to detail Reporting Line and Supervisory Responsibilities Reports to Department Manager No supervisory responsibilities Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and hear or talk Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, turning, and walking Frequently required to stand for long periods Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception Working Environment: Exposed to moving mechanical parts Noise level is moderate to high Hot to cold temperatures and dust
