The Opportunity: With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our military every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As an operational intelligence planner, you use your spe cia lized te chn ical and functional experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence, products, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to inform our nation's leaders. As an operational intelligence planner on our team, you'll help your client understand their operational landscape. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, develop effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. You'll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters, senior policy makers, internal client publications, and US IC-wide products. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into areas like automation and human machine teaming. You'll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have: 8+ years of experience c ond ucting analysis
Ability to communicate information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, or te chn ically advanced
Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
Ability to provide guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies, and use argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives
TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience in USINDOPACOM
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with senior military and civilian offi cia ls
Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
