Job description

Amentum has an opportunity for a highly skilled Intel Operational Planner to support Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) planning and analysis in joint intelligence preparation of the environment (JIPOE) and enemy course of action (ECOA) development. The position will synchronize and coordinate with regional/country desk officers, forward-deployed personnel, planners, and interagency partners and provide deep regional expertise across political, military, economic, social, infrastructure, and information (PMESII). Duties and Responsibilities: Provide intelligence support and input for OPLANs, CONPLANs, MICON, CONOPs, Annex B, and crisis development at strategic, operational, and tactical levels. Collaborate with USINDOPACOM, service components, USSOCOM, U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), U.S. Forces Japan (USFJ), and Special Operations Command Korea (SOCKOR) for SOF intelligence requirements to inform SOCPAC's supporting plans. Participate in war games, Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), crisis action planning teams, exercises, and conferences related to OPLAN and CONPLAN. Conduct in-depth research using both classified and unclassified data sources to analyze intelligence relevant to SOCPAC's needs. Coordinate and synchronize with regional desk officers, forward-deployed personnel, and interagency partners. Support the development of SOCPAC's Commander's Estimates, Crisis Planning, Strategy, and Campaign Support Plans (CSP). Travel domestically (CONUS) and internationally (OCONUS) as required. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of Intel Planning Experience Expertise in operational planning, joint intelligence, and PMESII analysis. Ability to support intelligence aspects of OPLANs, CONPLANs, MICON, CONOPs, and crisis response efforts. Strong coordination skills with regional stakeholders and interagency partners Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree and 10 years prior experience providing intelligence support to Special Operations Forces (SOF) units or commands. 5+Years intelligence experience in the USINDOPACOM AOR. Completion of Intel Planning Course I/II. The salary range for this position is $135K to $170K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
