Job description

Senior Security Engineer Provide support to the Security Architecture/Engineering Program (SAEP). Ensure any design solutions address security requirements at a solution or system, network level, enforces implementation of common security services and security zones. Ensure design reviews are IAW with all applicable government directives, approved frameworks, industry standards, including, but not limited to, DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Instructions, Directions, policy, regulations, guides, NSA security guides, government directives, government approved frameworks, to ensure every DoD Information System & Computer Network provides Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. Qualification & Requirements: Knowledge working with firewalls to include reviewing logs, ports, and blocks. Knowledge of DoD PPSM program. Ability to update, maintain, and deliver process flow diagrams and work instructions. Represent cybersecurity in meetings and working groups for the proper review of, but not limited to: projects for Engineering, Architecture, or Requirements, Configuration Standards Board, new technologies, requestor project reviews, Configuration Control Review Boards and Technical Analysis and Cost Estimates (TACE) project meetings; within two (2) business days generate a Project Design Review Report (PDRR) identifying project overview, status in Development Lifecycle, and Security centric solutions or Courses of Action (COAs). Ability to provide Security architecture support to Enterprise Architecture planning and strategy as requested. Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Information Technology Security or Cybersecurity (Extensive experience in the required discipline can serve as substitution for Bachelor's Degree requirements). Minimum of 7 years' experience with emphasis in Cybersecurity System Architecture and Engineering, with at least 5 of them being in the U.S Federal Government (without Bachelor's Degree, 10+ years in U.S Federal Government Cybersecurity System Architecture and Engineering). Active Secret security clearance Required certification/s (one of the following): o CISSP DoD IASAE III required certification/s (one of the following): o CISSP-ISSAP o CISSP-ISSEP o CCSP
